More specific:Receive and process incoming orders, advising the customer on alternatives to the initial requirement where appropriate and, where necessary, keep the customer informed of the progress of the order.Complete the load sheet accurately at the time of order.Identify critical orders, i.e. difficult or significant orders, and those from key customers, problem customers and new customers and to ensure the appropriate individuals are notified in order that extra care and attention can be observed throughout all stages from order enquiry to delivery. Follow through on critical orders to ensure that they have been delivered to the customer’s satisfaction. This process may involve an active role in liaising with Departmental Managers, Production staff, Transport staff and the customer.Respond positively and sensitively to any customer complaints, ensuring the customer is aware that necessary corrective action will be taken.Book appropriate transport and complete any documentation required, including commercial invoices.arrange correct and timely shipping of animals to other sites or to the airport for onward despatch by air.Ensure timely and correctly weekly invoicing activitiesSend Export customers all relevant documentation, including flight details, prior to shipment.Carry out all duties that shall be required by the Customer Services Manager and other senior managers.
