Our client is a fast growing international company, located at Schiphol Airport, providing 24/7 time-critical solutions to freight forwarders. Their services vary from Hand-carry/Onboard Couriers (OBC), to Air Cargo Charters and Dedicated Drives (Intra-Europe).

Together with your team-members you are the first point of contact to handle inquiries. Solving problems and finding creative solutions is your second nature. Customers can rely on your logistic know-how, your support and understanding. Satisfying customers is your goal with everything you do.
At the same time you motivate your team-members and make sure they have all the tools to handle customers’ request to their satisfaction.

A few examples of requests:
• If an unexpected disruption of a production line is causing delay, you will make sure that necessary spare parts are being delivered in the shortest timeframe possible.
• When there is an international fashion show, a designer of luxury garments might ask you to transport delicate and expensive dresses to the catwalk.
• Urgent shipment of supplies for sporting events or components for medical equipment.

Due to their worldwide expansion, including opening their first International Office outside Europe, we are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring Supervisor who will make sure the daily operation of the Schiphol Office is running smoothly.
Functievereisten What skills will the ideal candidate bring?
 Fluent in Dutch & English (spoken and written). Another language is an advantage.
 Excellent communication and listening skills
 At least two year experience in leading or supervising a team
 Knowledge of the air cargo industry.
